Common questions

Can porcelain slabs be used as kitchen benchtops?
Yes — large-format porcelain slabs (3200x1600 in 12mm and 20mm) are made for benchtops, island fronts and full-height splashbacks. They resist heat, stains and scratching, and one slab can run a whole bench with minimal joins. Fabrication is arranged through your stonemason; we can supply cut-to-size guidance with your quote.
What makes a good splashback tile?
Almost any glazed tile works behind a benchtop — it's a low-wear, easy-clean surface. Gloss finishes bounce light in smaller kitchens; handmade-look small formats add texture. Slip ratings don't apply to walls, so choose on look alone.
Do kitchen mixers come in finishes that match bathroom tapware?
Yes — the kitchen mixers in ranges like Nero Bianca and Zen share finishes with the bathroom lines, so an open-plan home can carry one finish throughout.
